The Healthiest Shot You Will Ever Take

Hello!  This post is long overdue…

A few weeks ago I went to a “potluck” for my small group.  It was our last week of the current study and we decided we would kind of celebrate. 

Our original idea was to grab some $5 pizzas and snacks and roll with it. 

Then at the last minute we changed our mind and it became “bring the healthiest thing you can think of.”

That sounds like a challenge!

I thought about this for a while, what to bring…and this is what I came up with:

PB&J Larabar and Banana Bread Larabar cut up into cubes.

I also brought these:

GREEN MONSTER SHOTS!

They went over so well, everyone LOVED them!

I made a huge batch of GM using 2 handfuls Spinach, 1/2 cup cut strawberries, 1/2 cup frozen pineapple, 1 banana, 2 Tbsp fresh ground flax, 1 Tbsp Chia seeds, and about 2 cups of water.  Then I poured them into these little 1 oz cups, added a piece of strawberry to try and make it fancy and wa-la! 

So you can bring healthy stuff to a potluck!  People may not be as inclined to eat it but that is their loss!!!

Wow thats pretty cool! I can't see anyone I know going for it lol great idea though!
